Objective of the Summit
To deliver a practical list of possible policies of real value to both Government and business aimed at delivering growth, economic transformation, and an improvement in the quality of life in New Zealand.
The three main topic discussion sessions and summary session are conducted under the Chatham House Rule which applies to both Delegates and registered Observers.
The Chatham House Rule will not apply at the opening session from 9am 10am and at the Summit luncheon.

Guest speaker: Arthur Grimes - Senior Fellow, MOTU Research
Taxes for a sustainable future
Arthur is Senior Research Fellow of Motu Research, an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the University of Waikato, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and Principal of GT Research and Consulting.
He has held prominent positions in banking. In his former role at the Reserve Bank, he was responsible for the design and implementation of New Zealand monetary policy, including the design of New Zealands current system of prudential supervision.
Arthur is also the 2005 NZIER Economics Award winner.

Attendee Information
Entry will be by invitation only.
Delegates and Observers are asked to pick up summit passes at the foyer of the Wellington Town Hall.
The Chatham House Rule applies to the three main Open Forum sessions. Business leader Delegates are invited to take their seats at tables in a horse shoe configuration at the front of the town hall. Businesses and other appropriate organisations, invited as Summit observers, will be seated behind Delegates. Media observers will be present for the opening presentations prior to the morning break but excluded from all Open Forum sessions following, unless specially invited as Observers honouring the Chatham House Rule.
